QTP 9.5 - here’s a feature breakdown

This was big news for us, but as usual, we’re keeping our skeptical hat on. We’ve done a lot in the past 2+ years to get around the high-maintenance foibles you get with QTP, and at first glance it doesn’t look like they’ve gone in the same direction. That doesn’t mean it won’t be good, it just means we won’t be able to use many of the features as a result of how we’ve built our framework.

I wonder how long it’ll be before QuickTest 10 comes out. I don’t know if I’m looking forward to it or dreading it.

The attachment isn’t very clear. I haven’t had the opportunity (time rather) to try the new version but is it true that it is going to replace vbScript with JavaScript? Or, is it going to support both? From what I understood, I am already dreading it, sort of.
